Looking at the commercial video for this product made me want to buy and try it out right away. You can see the little "shock" when the brush comes in contact with the fleas. The beeping of it is like a detector, when you come in contact with something it starts beeping a little faster. Sometimes, it does get a little tricky to take off the flea from the brush, so I use some tissues to get in-between.

First, I have 3 different dogs that have 3 different hair types. I have a rat terrier with thick-medium long hair. He picks up the most fleas on walks and in the yard. They drive him nuts instantly. I first used the Flea Doctor comb without it turned on - just to get him used to the comb. He liked it. I then moved to turning it on. It beeps. It beeps fast when it has a flea stuck in the comb that is being zapper. The beeping didn't really bother him as I started away from his head. Now that he knows he feels much better after I use this on him, he comes over to get combed after outings. It works. The comb ZAPS the fleas and kills them. (Delightful!!!)
My other two dogs have much shorter hair. They also like it but you have to be very careful to hold the comb at a 90 degree angle. Do not go over their body where there is very little or no hair - they will feel the zap. One of the two doesn't mind, but the other one - doesn't like it if she feels the tingle of the zap - of course.
Bottom line - it works especially on dogs with medium to long hair.
If you don't read the instructions and hold the produce correctly - you probably won't get good results. 🙂

Oh my gosh! This little gadget really works. Now I’m addicted to trying to find some fleas in the bedding or chairs, everywhere! I love zapping and getting rid of fleas. I wish it didn’t beep. I think that’s what gets on my cats nerves well after 30 minutes LOL. I have another one arriving tomorrow so my daughter can come and kill fleas with me. It doesn’t take a lot to entertain us.🤗

I actually think this product missed its true target audience and purpose. I don't use it as a grooming tool but as a highly effective tick removal device on my 3 dogs. Those nasty parasites literally "jump off"when zapped with the comb and my dogs don't feel a thing. I love it!
